The group has evolved into people using multi-media: mostly watercolour and acrylics painting, but others doing pencil drawing or pen and ink. Some of us make abstract paintings or patterns to decorate gift cards.

We are by no means all very experienced painters: some of us are still beginners. Sometimes we have a theme to follow and sometimes we have a still life to paint. Many people bring a photo or magazine picture, and attempt to paint their own interpretation of what they see when they look at it. 

Everyone is welcome to make suggestions of different things to try. And we often have a discussion about what we are aiming to do. It is our policy always to say encouraging things when looking at each others' paintings.

We meet in the Green Room at the Memorial Hall and we pay for 6 sessions in advance, meeting every two weeks on a Monday afternoon.
