Members of the Hertford Astronomy Group will present an introduction to what is in the night sky.

This will include demonstrations to show the distance of the Moon,  the layout of the planets, and how eclipses take place.

We will also explain and demonstrate different types of telescopes.

After our presentations, we shall go outside (weather permitting!) to observe the Moon, the planet Saturn, the Milky Way and even the Andromeda Galaxy.
