Philosophy

Status:Active, open to new members
Contact:
When: Monthly on Tuesday afternoons
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month, 2.45pm for a 3pm start.
Venue: The Marford Memorial Hall

The Convenor is Brian Edwards.

The Greek philosopher Socrates said that “an unexamined life is no life for a human being to live.”

Our philosophy group does not attempt to compete with the intellectual rigour of Socrates et al but we are interested in what makes the world tick, and why.

You don’t need to have studied philosophy before to join us.  All you need is an enquiring mind, and a desire to understand the things of life a little more deeply.  At the end of our meetings most people find that their minds have been opened to new ideas and ways of thinking.

New members are always welcome.
