The Elite Club is convened by the u3a committee

Wheathampstead u3a Elite Club is for u3a members aged 90 or over. Partners who are not yet 90 may also join.  

The first meeting was a tea party in the Marford Memorial Hall to which a number of history students from Katherine Warington School were also invited.

Ideas for future activities include journaling, where group members write down or dictate their reminiscences, a memory box, which might include for example notes about special events during members’ childhoods, films and outings to garden centres and other places of interest.
